Mixed Emotions

So its Monday (memorial day) and I leave for the states on thursday!!!! I'm so totally stoked about going home. I'm going dancin with my momma, chilin with my dad, hiking with Elliot, Shoppin with all the girls. I'm gonna eat all the mexican food my heart desires, eat at steak houses, eat soy icecream, ......All the good stuff. I'm sooo excited, but on a sucky note, Its PCS season here. When I get back from leave/det. Just about all of my friends will be gone perminatly. No more Jim, Rachel, Kyle, James, Rob, Wes, Kerry, Paul and Trish.................Major bummer!!!!! Not to mention people from work are leavin too. Seems that when I come back it will be just me and Mike at the house, That dosent make for the most exciting game of speed scrabble. :) Any way, Thats quite enough pouting......YAY I'm going home!!!

Without a plan

Ok I have two years left in the Navy and until today I had a pretty good plan as to what I would do when I got out. Then today I found out that because of my current job I am not eligible to join the Peace Corps....................But, thats what I wanted to do!! I guess thats just not what God has planned for me, so now what?!? I know nothing is for sure but, I need something to work twards. I cant not have a goal, a plan of some sort. I'm pretty sure I dont want to reenlist. I want to travel, I want to do something meaningful. I need something hands on, Any Ideas? I'm feeling a little without direction. Help?

Delirium

A 13 and 1/2 hour conversation and Hes off to Italy and I'm sooo tired! But, I had a busy fun day anyway. Dropped Mike at the airport this mornin(Hes leaving for a ship deployment) Then Rachel and I had a mokoteki breakfast while we near froze to death watching the boys soccer team get slaughtered. Then off to the mall to explore the crazy Japanese socks. Then, soo fun, as I'm bringing her home she yells "Wait! do you have 20 min.?" Of course I do, so she brings me to the Weasels Den and Introduces me to go-cart racing! Sooooo much FUN!! We sucked, and got whooped by some fast drivin guys....but it was the best. I crashed so hard my glasses flew right off my face and we had to stop to find them. Awesome!!!! Bible study was good, Mike taught. Everyone was really involved, very animated, there were pocky sticks and passion a plenty.

20 Days till I'm in New Mexico chillin with my Momma.
21 days till Elliot. :)

Good life

So I just got back to Misawa and its Great!! I forgot how big my room was, I have space here. The sun is shining. Its fairly warmish with an enchanting little breeze. I have my clothes and my music. Everything is arranged the way I arranged it. I have my car, which means I have my freedom. No "usskeeper" waking me up or taking my towels and not leaving new ones. I had friday E club HH lunch today, and we are all going to dinner tonight so I'll get to meet baby Roxy. And....... Only a month till I'm home with the people I love. Life is good!!
