long time...New post

Wow! Its been a long time since I've written. Life is great! I have mere days left in Japan. I'm getting out of the Navy. Its been good but I need to live with my husband. Chase and I and our families are going to spend Christmas together at his home in Arkansas. I cant hardly wait. I'm so excited. Its been months since I've seen him and I miss him so much!!!!

Yesterday Luke and Jamie and I went to a Salmon festival. It was awesome, probably the most fun I've had. We had such a good time. It rained all day and we were wet and freezing but there was something charming about it. We ate fresly made Japanese doughnuts (so warm and yummy)and potatoes on a stick.
Then we got to chase big ole salmon around a pond trying to catch them. Totally the most fum EVER!!!!

Engaged!

Chase asked me to marry him. I said yes. Although he had talked to my parrents days earlier, he asked me on sunday. I was nervous, so was he. It was perfect. Then we announced it at church. It was wonderful. We are both VERY excited.

I'm Happy

My last entry lead some friends to wonder if i was sad. I'm not, it was just a thought I felt like writing about.
Everything is going especially well actually. This deployment has been great so far. Jacqueline and I have been having lots of fun, country dancing galore. And as she is really good at trying new recipies, I've been spoiled with her cooking dinner. I'va also developed a love for squash pie and Sean's grandma. The church I'm attending here is awesome and I've met alot of really cool people. I've been dating someone really wonderful too. His name is Chase. I met him at church, and its going really well.
I'm hoping to get to take leave in march and I'm really looking forward to that. I hope to see you all soon.
